It all started at Grandma's house. It was here, with German utterances, rare sweets, and unbounded play in nature, that my appreciation of art began. She would put clay in front of us and say, "Have at it." It didn't stop there. She is an artist of many mediums. One can imagine the treat this would be for children growing up; explicit permission to get messy without worries. The curiosities and experimentation of my childhood continue within my work as an artist today.
My name is Jessica. I was born in Waukesha and I spent 20 years of my childhood in Mukwonago, WI. I am lucky to have lived in the beautiful countryside and to have achieved the things I have. I'm the only girl of three loving brothers who have supported me always. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Art: Commercial Art Emphasis from Carroll University. I am currently employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and going to school for nursing at MATC.
It is my goal to remain open to opportunities and strive for the best in everything that I do. It is with these qualities that I hope to have the opportunity to share and discuss ideas as well as become a valuable asset wherever I may go.
